Abstract/Contents:The homogeneity of 33 lots of tall oatgrass seed, 14 lots of meadow fescue seed and 4 lots of Kentucky bluegrass seed was tested by means of the H index of the International Seed Testing Association and the 'short test' of Miles. In 46 cases the results obtained were the same for both methods. The miles test was less laborious and more rapid than the H index test. F.en s.
