Abstract/Contents:Presents a study to evaluate "pentachloronitrobenzene (PCNB) as a fungicide for the control of Fusarium patch disease." Details the results of different formulations of treatments of PCNB on turf plots. Also refers to Experiment 46, where evidence supports the data found in this experiment. Touches on Corticium disease and dollar spot, as well as Typhula blight, and describes the effects of fungicides on these diseases. Mentions mite damage on a bowling green in Liverpool and explains the grass damage which signaled the mites' infestation.
