Abstract/Contents: | Describes how to trouble shoot a motor that want start. Summarizes how a choke system works in order to "understand the principles of operation of whatever componentes you are trying to diagnose." Presents potential causes of starting problems, like the position of the throttle plate, the condition of the gasoline, the seal of the carboretor and the condition of the air filter. Recommends that you "always check the air cleaner for dirt, the exhaust for soot, and the fuel mixture adjustment each time a small gas engine is serviced." |
