Abstract/Contents:Describes Rod Riley's visit to Pelican Waters Golf Course to advertise his new grass, "Conquest" (Riley's Evergreen) couch grass. Riley details his tour of Pelican Waters and states that "just to look at the colour co-ordination or the different grass used was really worth seeing." Discusses the possible downfalls of the golf course, stating that "the shade-affected tees...were visibly struggling to form a good tight leafy mat. Colour was down and divot damage was slow to recover." Discusses possible problems the course may encounter, including pest infestation and overthatching of top foliage. Riley states that "when the above said problem is finally put to rest, the golf course, as good as it is now, will improve out of sight." Briefly desribes Riley's visit to Bribie Island Bolwing Club.
