Presents a control strategy for crab grass, stating that "on couch playing fields, the herbicides MSMA and DSMA can be used to control crab grass. But on kikuyu plyaing fields, these herbicides can't be used because of their severe phytotoxic effects." Presents another control strategy for crab grass, explaining that "where crab gass has been a problem in the past, it can be controlled with one of three pre-emergent herbicides." Presents tips for controlling heaving crab grass germinations brought on by renovation. Presents tips for controlling crab gras in summer renovation, including "don't apply any of the pre-emergent herbicides to areas that are to be renovated."
