| Abstract/Contents: | Presents a study to "determine the most efficient seeding rate and to develop weed control programs during seedling establishment through greenhouse and field research." Results indicate that "in the greenhouse experiment, a seeding rate of more than 1.6 lb./1000 sq. ft. produced excessive seedling densitites [densities] of over 350/sq. ft. resulting in smaller and weaker seedlings with lower shoot and root dry weights. Tupersan and Ronstar were effective herbicides to use during zoysiagrass seedling establishment." |
