Abstract/Contents: | Suggests that "the problem confronting sod producers is not one of demand but, essentially, ineffective approaches to market and a lack of sufficient resources - both money and effort - directed at reaching customers." Explains the purchasing criteria of many buyers, recommends ways to increase sod demand and expand the overall market. Provides market expansion strategies, such as targeting architects and developers, improving advertising, and educating producers and consumers. |
