Suggests that "many employers have found Hispanics consistently have a great work ethic" and that this may be because they "are here to try to make a better life for themselves and their families." Explains that "during their stay in the United States, they will take advantage of that time and work from dawn to sundown, seven days a week, to make as much money as they can." Discusses potential methods of closing the communication gap between employers and non-English speaking Hispanics, explaining that employers can "obtain Spanish-translated videotapes explaining golf course maintenance by contracting GCSAA [Golf Course Superintendents Association of America]." |
