Abstract/Contents: | Reports the results of a study with the objective "to determine the impact of two landscape pest management methods, frequent, calendar-based cover sprays and scouting-based integrated pest management, on target pests and non-target arthropods on diverse, identical, miniature landscapes." Concludes that "frequent insecticide and acaricide applications may be less disruptive than expected" and "small, diverse plots, similar to residential landscapes, were rapidly recolonized from adjacent fields." |
