Abstract/Contents: | Discusses H.R. 1592, a bill which "would require the EPA to use reliable information and sound science to assess pesticides under the FQPA" (Food Quality Protection Act). States that "the bill requires the EPA to use reliable, accurate data about how superintendents and other pesticide users actually use pesticides, rather than upon anecdotal information or 'worst case,' theoretical assumptions." States that "it is important that your lawmakers hear from you today. Write, call or e-mail your members of Congress and urge them to support H.R. 1592." |
