Abstract/Contents:Relates the findings from a questionnaire and interview survey on the process of IPM implementation with more than 150 research and extension specialists in Europe, the United States, and Australia/New Zealand. The survey was aimed to identify the key elements in implementation that had contributed to adoption and nonadoption of IPM programs, as perceived by different personnel groups and as influenced by region, country, crop, type of crop, and type of program. Some results of this survey and a review of the literature up to October 1986 for the basis of this discussion which is focused on insect and mite pests.
