Announces that BASF will have a fungicide called Insignia which "will control several fungal pathogens including brown patch, gray leaf spot and snow mold" and "will stand out because it doesn't aggravate dollar spot infestations." Annouces that Top Pro Specialties will offer T-Methyl Pro, "a generic alternative to Cleary's 3336 fungicide and the Scotts Company's Fungo," which "controls brown patch, summer patch, snow mold and other diseases," and Iprodine Pro 2SE, "a generic alternative to Chipco's 26GT," which primarily controls brown patch and dollar spot, as well as other mold activity. Announces Chipco Professional Products' Chipco Triton, "second-generation sterol inhibitor," which "controls a variety of diseases in the West, including both gray and pink snow mold, summer patch, brown patch, dollar spot, anthracnose, rust and red leaf spot." Announces Syngenta's designation of Medallion fungicide for use on turf grass. States that "the product contains fludioxonil, a new contact fungicide chemistry for the turf industry" and it "has great activity on snow mold and is a good-resistance management tool." |
