Discusses the unique challenges which face this course. Explains that the course only has a 60-day frost-free season. Describes other challenges such as keeping the course wet due to extremely low humidity, uric acid burns from elk, and the replacement of divots. Concludes that "despite these challenges, the course annually offers a six-month-long season. It is a favorite course of many, allowing city dwellers to get into the clean, rarified mountain air for a golfing experience sure to be remembered." |
