Abstract/Contents:Briefly summarizes a field study conducted at the Presidio Golf Course near San Francisco, CA, "to evaluate effects of compost tea applications." Results indicate that "turf treated with compost tea had longer root length, less disease and higher density than untreated turf. Treated turf did not differ from untreated turf in color, overall quality, thatch depth, soil pH, or insect and weed root colonization."
