| Abstract/Contents: | "This report is a part of the soil conditioner's experimentation for turf. The purpose of this test are effect of the sand texture, silt & clay per cent and the soil conditioners for compacted soil mixture. Measurements are about cut yield, weight of stems and root, hardness of turf surface, depression of turf surface and soil physical properties as non-capillary porosity, fild capacity and total pore space. Compost and peat moss plots were more effective for grass leaves growth, but compost was poor for stems and roots. Compost was most hard on turf surface. Peat moss effected heavier depression. The field capacity was increased by compost, peat moss and perlite. Coarse sand gived [gave] better result than sand for compacted soil mixture." |
