Abstract/Contents:Discusses the 1997 GCSAA membership survey. Focuses on survey questions about the Americans with Disabilities Act. Results include that "one third of the superintendents who responded to survey questions about ADA indicated they had received a request at their course for accommodation by a disabled golfer...Most often, golf courses allow the use of golf cars on fairways when the course policy is walking or car path only." States that "GCSAA has taken the lead on the ADA issue in the golf industry by bringing together disabled golfers and allied golf associations to form the ADA Golf Alliance. The Alliance is working to resolve ADA implementation issues."
