Abstract/Contents: | Highlights a study of insects and mowing that is part of a project "to study the effects of cultural practices on wildlife populations." Results include that "edges, when left unmowed, show changes in diversity after two years...Preliminary surveys of various animal groups at Schulyer Meadows GC...indicate that size of wildlife areas correlated positively with numbers and diversity of the animal groups found there." |
