Abstract/Contents:Reports results at Kentucky location of the National Fineleaf Fescue Variety Test involving 48 new and experimental cultivars of fine fescue (red, chewings, hard, sheep). Cultivars are replicated three times and maintained at 1.5 inch mowing height. Visual monthly (March-October) quality rating (1-9 scale) are presented in yearly (1984-1987) averages along with a 4 year average in a table. Varietal types are identified with varieties. Top rated varietes are Aurora (hard) and Bighorn (sheep).
