Abstract/Contents:Discusses how three Chicago-area superintendents restored a lost hole location by using aerification cores harvested from their courses during the fall. Describes how the superintendents determined the boundaries of the restoration area, relocated the existing collar to conform to the new boundary, prepared the planting bed, harvested aerification cores, and used the cores to fill in the restoration area. States that "this approach may take a little longer than sodding, but as they say, the proof is in the pudding."
