Abstract/Contents:Describes a method used at Winged Foot Golf Club, Mamaroneck, NY, to aerify greens with less soil disruption. Explains that using a narrower spacing pattern and a larger tine will affect a larger surface area but cause less overall disruption. States that with this method, you should "plan on using more topdressing material, and you may need to hand-broom it in for optimum effectiveness."

Abstract
(Thanks to DTRF)
