Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the four basic principles of managing multi-purpose facilities: developing a site-specific maintenance plan, "identifying the proper equipment that is needed, setting up a good line of communication within your organization and with your user groups, and becoming more professional as a sports turf manager through education." Describes how to perform an audit of your facility in order to identify your site's limitations and needs. Also discusses how to develop a maintenance practice and how to continue your education. |
