Abstract/Contents:Describes an experiment to "evaluate disease incidence in creeping bentgrass in response to application of a defense activator and several organic fertilizers." States that "data [was] collected weekly on turf quality, dollar spot number, and brown patch." Results include that "the plant disease activator suppressed dollar spot in all cultivars except L-93," "the plant disease activator had no effect on brown patch levels," and "all...cultivars [other than L-93] exhibited unacceptable quality on at least 82% of rating dates regardless of fertilizer treatment."
