Abstract/Contents: | Explains that "winter fusarium can be a problem in cooler areas of Australia. It is mainly a disease of the cooler season turf with symptoms being especially apparent in mixed winter grass (Poa annua)/bentgrass (Agrostis sp.) greens in autumn/spring." Describes cultural control methods including controlling soil pH, thatch control and limiting Nitrogen fertilization. Also dicusses chemical control methods. |
