| Abstract/Contents: | Briefly summarizes research at the Presidio Golf Course, San Francisco, California, to evaluate "effects of a 12-month compost tea regimen under the conditions of a working golf course to determine if the regular use of compost tea was feasible within the existing turf management program; if the use of tea would reduce the severity of primary foliar turf diseases common to this course - microdochium patch (Microdochium nivale) and anthracnose (Colletotrichum graminicola); and if the tea would increase soil microorganism and nutrient levels." Results include that "the tea suppressed the severity of microdochium patch although anthracnose was not affected." |
