Abstract/Contents: | Describes the study of the effect of three different irrigation regimes on 'Tifway' bermudagrass, 'Meyer' zoysiagrass, and common centipedegrass. States that the three objectives of this study are "to determine the annual and seasonal water use requirements of these species under non-limiting to severe moisture stress conditions," "to determine the plant morphological/anatomical/physiological factors that affect water use of these three grasses under well-watered, moderate, and severe stress conditions," and "to develop baseline information for these turfgrasses to use infrared thermometry for irrigation scheduling." States that "this project is funded by the Standard Oil Company of Ohio." |
