| Abstract/Contents: | States that "it is often necessary to apply preemergence herbicides to overseeded bermudagrass for summer weed control" and "an experiment was initiated to determine the tolerance of preemergence herbicides on bermudagrass greens overseeded with perennial ryegrass." Shows the 13 herbicide application rates and dates studied including the untreated control. States that "preliminary results from 1986 indicate that pendimethalin, Surflan, XL, and Ronstar WP caused severe injury to the overseeded ryegrass" and "the injury was slight with Ronstar G and varied from slight to moderate with Regalstar." |
