Abstract/Contents: | "Studies relating to turf water requirements were carried out by automatically managing irrigation to replace the soil water used and metering the irrigation water. Soil water sensors or tensiometers were used to guide the automatic irrigation program. Effects of varying the soil mix and drainage profile of a golf green on irrigation management were demonstrated." |
