| Abstract/Contents: | "Two Floratine treatments were compared to a control plot with respect to colour, percent cover, turfgrass density and root lengths. On a rating taken on October 6, the fourth rating conducted, the plots treated with Floratine AP exhibited significantly better turfgrass density. Aside from this the use of the Floratine treatments had no significant effect on any of the variables studied. The lack of response was attributed to the fact that the turf was in a relatively good condition at the start of the experiment. For example, the percent cover was 100% on all treatments. Also, the uncharacteristically cold weather in late August and September would have slowed growth." |
