Title:The effects of wetting agents on dry patch in turf
Source:PTRC - Prairie Turfgrass Research Centre 1992 Annual Report [Alberta]. 1992, p. 22.
Publishing Information:[Olds, Alberta: Prairie Turfgrass Research Centre]
# of Pages:1
Abstract/Contents:"The addition of four wetting agent products to a site to assess its effect on dry patch had no significant effect on water infiltration rates or soil moisture content immediately below the surface when measured in the fall. It should be pointed out that the turf was not under drought stress when this measurement was taken and that wetting agents are intended to reduce this condition. In order to evaluate these products properly this study will need to be conducted when a reasonable assurance that moisture stress will occur."
