Abstract/Contents: | Stresses that "appropriate training and competencies are two ways that employers and employees in the turf industry can minimise exposure to risk and possible legal action." Points out that having a certificate proving proper training will help prevent legal action if an accident were to occur. Describes action that WorkPlace Health and Safety has taken to hopefully lower work-related injuries to employees at the hands of improperly trained machine operators, including conducting training courses for specific equipment. |
