Abstract/Contents: | "In recent months there has been an increased interest and concern about the contamination of shallow groundwater with agricultural chemicals. If these chemicals are applied in a proper manner how do they find their way to groundwater? This can best be understood by examining the factors which control movements of chemicals in soils. These factors include: chemical properties, soil properties, plant characteristics, and climatological factors." |
