Describes the process of photosynthesis as it differs between warm-season and cool-season grasses and examines the transition zone in which "cool-season grasses are often to be found alongside warm season grasses." Profiles the Woodmont Country Club in Washington, D. C. and describes how Woodmont Country Club addresses diseases on the fairway while reducing maintenance expenditures. Discusses how the transition zone is shrinking due to the result of technological advancements and improving cool- and warm-season grasses. |
