| Abstract/Contents: | "Soil tests from 12 football fields during a seven year period are presented and fertilizing recommendations are discussed. Very high P- and K-values gave reason for a very restrictive P- and K-fertilization. On some fields no P an K were applied during the seven year period, from which no negative effects could be seen. The amounts of P and K in the soil were almost unaffected during the seven years. A low cost fertilizing schedule could be planned. In comparison to old routine with NPK fertilizers single N-fertilization saved at least 350 Sw. Crs per field annually. Therefore the importance of the soil analysis must not be overlooked." |
