| Abstract/Contents: | Herbicides are usually a strategic part of a weed control program. Many are available in pre and post emergent forms. New herbicides are not as abundant as in past years because of increased cost and government regulation. Discussed are many types of herbicide chemicals for use on established cynodon. Some such as Balan, Dacthal, Diphenamid, Betasan, Kerb, Princep, Banevel, and MSMA are briefly compared and evaluated. Other experimental chemicals such as Amex 820, round up, and ronstar are discussed for future use. Label instructions should always be followed properly for all herbicides and chemicals. |
