Abstract/Contents:Reports results of the Kentucky bluegrass experiments between 1984 and 87 at the Soils and Crops Research Station at Adelphia, New Jersey and the Turfgrass Research Center at North Brunswick, New Jersey. The Adelphia experiment were held between 19884 and 85 and the North Brunswick between 1986 and 87, all during late August or Spring. Plots were 3 ft by 5 ft and seed with 15 grams of seed each. Irrigation and frequent light applications of granular complete fertilizers were introduced along with 2,4-D and Dicamba in the fall for broadleaf problems and DCPA or benefin in the spring for crabgrass problems. Levels of pH was kept between 6.0 and 6.5. The only exception was 1986 test a North Brunswick where water was withheld during 1988 in an attempt to reduce an infestation of annual bluegrass.
