| Abstract/Contents: | Provides a report on maintaining steady turfgrass growth by maintaining a steady amount of nitrogen in the soil. Discusses the use of slow-release sources of nitrogen and applying light and frequent amounts of water-soluble nitrogen. Also discusses fertigation, the use of fertilizers though the irrigation system. Provides a solution to nitrogen maintenance: the proper use of the irrigation system to prevent excess nitrogen release and minimize leaching. |
