Abstract/Contents:Provides classification of three different mites that are pests to warm season turfgrasses including Aceria cynodoniensis Keifer, Digonychus pratensis, and Steneotarsonemus furcatus DeLeon. The last two mites have major potential as pest threats, but are now reported in isolated infestations. Cynodon and Stenotaphrum secundatum are the two grasses most susceptible to these mites. These two categories of mites are discussed in detail including damage characteristics, solutions, and description.
