Abstract/Contents:Discussed maintenance factors involved in proper, cost efficient levels for condominiums. Contract agreements and bidding requirements regarding lawn care, trees, shrubbery, irrigation, and replacement are listed. Some situations and questions that are not covered in the average contract are brought up. Considerations prior to maintenance program set up should include: soil type, irrigation for this soil type, and content - not to mention fertilizers required, weather conditions, and the physical layout of the area (drainage and heavy traffic). A section on management and personnel is given and a segment of education - the knows and know how's that influence the in's and out's of condominium management, such as plant care and identification is discussed.
