| Abstract/Contents: | Research on Gryllotalpidae control in four topic areas is discussed. Includes basic biology and ecology, biological control, host plant resistance, and insecticidal control. A history on Gryllotalpidae and insect traps is briefly discussed. Larra bicolor is being studied for paratization of Gryllotalpidae, and host plant studies are on cynodon and Paspalum notadum. States that twelve pesticides are presently being evaluated,including mocap and 2% ficam bait. |
