| Abstract/Contents: | Announces the end of Drought Emergency conditions in the state of New Jersey. Explains that an executive order by the governor and an administrative order by the commissioner have overridden previous orders which placed water-use restrictions on the state. States that both orders "make reference to compliance" and urges the golf industry to lead the way with efficient water practices, saying that "it's time for our industry to continue to set a good example with the use of the state's water." Explains that the Alliance for Water Conservation is trying to change water restrictions for the future and that "the restrictions for golf courses will seek a reduction of [their] monthly allotment with no limitations on timing or location of water application." |
