Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the National Pump Company (NPC), who has "been successfully manufacturing and marketing pumps for irrigation, municipal, agricultural, industrial and commercial markets since 1969" and their progression from manufacturing and marketing only pumps to entire pumping systems. Explains that "today, NPC's Pumping Systems Division builds packaged systems in a state-of-the-art production facility in Olive Branch, MS. Here, everything, from engineering and designing these systems, to packaging and shipping them, is done with the idea of turning out the highest quality products possible and ensuring customers smooth, trouble-free installations." Discusses the four standard pump-station models the company can supply and the custom mechanical configurations they offer. Discusses the applications for NPC's systems, which include "golf course and turf irrigation, water parks, snow making, sports facilities, parks and recreation areas, cooling towers, pipeline boosters, raw and potable water supply, dewatering, desalinization, dry docks, effluent water, industrial process, flood control, dry or web-pit services, and horizontal boosters." Also presents customer concerns and the more efficient, technologically advanced pumping-system package NPC established in response to the concerns. |
