States that "given Norman's philosphies and previous commitment to environmental preservation in the areas of development, turfgrass and golf design, he is a logical leader for the new advisory council and also as an additional member of The Institute's board of trustees." Explains that "as part of his commitment to The Institute, Norman has agreed to a generous pledge to The Institute. Norman's gift is the single largest donation ever made to the organization."
