| Abstract/Contents: | "Novozymes newly registered Bacillus SB3086 based biofungicide EcoGuard was tested at six university turf centers in the United States during the 2002 field season. All trials were on Agrostis sp. turf maintained at green or tee height and were random complete block design with four replicates. EcoGuard significantly reduced dollar spot at all locations and provided 73% of the efficacy of the standard fungicides in the trials without respect to disease pressure. Results were better at low and moderate disease pressures where EcoGuard provided up to 92% efficacy compared to the standard fungicides." |
