Abstract/Contents: | Provides four steps to help keep lawns and flower beds look tidy. States that the first step "is to cut the edge" and provides two methods for doing so. Discusses the pros and cons of using these methods. Follows with step two which states "once you've established your edge, refine it with a spade, deepening the cut to 4 to 6 inches." In order for the edges to be sharp, step three states you should use hand shears to cut along the trench to remove extra grass and it is suggested to repeat the step two or three times.
