Abstract/Contents: | Describes an order placed on February 5, 2004 by a federal district court which made 38 pesticides which are harmful to salmon populations restricted from use near areas of water in which salmon inhabit. Discusses the pesticide companies actions to appeal the law and reduce the Environmental Protection Agencies authorities on setting rules on the restrictions of pesticides to protect wildlife. States that NCAP and its allies are trying to stop these proposals from occurring. |
