Abstract/Contents: | Tom Fazio describes how a lull in the golf course construction industry in the mid-1970s provided him with the opportunity to meet and marry his wife, Sue. States that "I think it's important to tell young people that (people just getting into the industry and even my own children) that how you can take a negative, which seems a negative at the time, and it turned out to be one of the best things in my life. Because without that recession in the real estate and the crash in the golf business, there's a very good chance that I would not have gotten married (certainly would not have married that person) and certainly would not have the six children I have." |
