Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the decrease in wildlife, stating that "all of our wildlife has decreased to such an extent that our best sites outside nature reserves and those used by wildlife are golf courses or other recreational facilities." Discusses the importance of wildlife on golf courses, explaining that "golfers need that subliminal feeling of well-being. The unwitting appreciation of butterflies and other wildlife can turn an unproductive round of golf into a very enjoyable walk." Briefly discusses climate changes and global warming. |
