| Abstract/Contents: | Discusses the history of STRI from 1974 to 1993, a time period which "saw some significant changes in the Institute, not only physically but also int he type and extent of the work undertaken." Names all the people that held office during the aforementioned time period. Discusses the advancements made in amenity grass testing, stating that "in the early 1970s grass testing formed the bulk of the research work being undertaken at the Institute." Discusses the research that was done from 1974 to 1993 and the funding for the research. Discusses the advisory work done from 1974 to 1993 and the educational advances made during that time period. |
