Abstract/Contents:Discusses new turfgrass varieties `A-1', `A-2', `A-4', `G-1', `G-2', and `G-6', all of which "were characterized by their narrow leaf texture and upright growth, with tremendous density that helped resist Poa annua invasion." Presents a research project done to "investigate the management requirements of A-4, G-2, and DW-184." Describes the establishment and maintenance of the research plots, the treatments that were applied, and the data collection procedures used. Presents the results of the study, and states that "both A-4 and G-2 provided far superior turf quality to Penncross."
