Abstract/Contents:Considers the economic advantage of environmentally sensitive golf course development from the standpoint of investors and developers and environmentalists. Concepts include better-managed water and irrigation systems and decreased used of chemicals. Suggests that data regarding operational costs and return-on-investment are crucial in evaluating the financial value of environmentally sensitive development and management.
